Design a tool for designers to help them in the design process for the circular economy.

Solution

For the course Circular Product Design, I designed a tool for designers to help them design for the circular economy. In a team of two, we designed a set of cards to help designers during the design of a product for the circular economy. The cards are subdivided into 4 different categories; Design for Upgradability & Adaptability, Design for Dis- & Reassembly, Design for Ease of Maintenance & Repair, and Design for Recycling. Each card gives the designer a design guideline or spark of innovation.
